Fenty Skin Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser for all skin types and is clean, vegan and gluten-free.

Ginkgo biloba is one of the key ingredients in Fenty Skin Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser. Ginkgo biloba is a tree native to China and its leaves and seeds have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for a very long time. You may have heard of taking ginkgo supplements to help slow the rate of cognitive decline due to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, but although the science is still out on whether there is a link between ginkgo and cognitive decline, ginkgo biloba still has a range of other uses in the body. Researchers have found that the ginkgo biloba leaf extract contains more than 40 components that can benefit the skin. Key among these are ginkgo’s potent antioxidants that help fight and neutralize free radicals, the main cause of aging that results in fine lines and wrinkles. Ginkgo bioloba is also rich in vitamin E, which helps in cellular restoration caused by sun damage as well as helps heal scars or burns. And, ginkgo has strong anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that help to skin conditions such as acne and eczema.

Fenty Skin Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All-Cleanser also contains other powerhouse ingredients such as acerola, which boosts collagen production and even skin tone; green tea, an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory and; fig, which helps prevent wrinkles and rejuvenate the skin. With such an impressive list of key ingredients, the Total Cleans’r should be the ultimate cleanser, read on to see what our guest reviewer thought!

About the Brand

Fenty Skin was founded Bajan musical artist, actress and songwriter Rihanna, after years of experimenting with the best-of-the-best in beauty—and still seeing a void in the industry for products that performed across all skin types and tones. Inspired by her global lifestyle, Rihanna combines ingredients from around the world and pairs them with skincare staples such as hyaluronic acid and niacinamide for clinically proven results. Driven by a bad encounter with a harsh product, Rihanna has prioritized clean formulas that are also vegan and gluten free. The packaging? Earth-conscious: Think more recyclable materials and smart refillable packs that feel luxurious. Plus, she’s elevated the entire experience with supple, unique textures and warm, delicious scents. Fenty Skin is skincare that works, that feels incredible, and that makes you feel good for using it.

My Take

This following is a guest review of the Fenty Skin Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All-Cleanser that I have copy-edited for content and style. The final version was approved by the guest reviewer.

I decided to buy Fenty Skin Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All-Cleanser because my current cleanser was finishing, and I am already a fan of Fenty beauty products. The Total Cleans’r is packaged in a lilac colored tube with an easy to open twist cap that you gently squeeze to dispense the product. The Total Cleans’r has a slight peachy color with a creamy texture and sweet honey/coconut fragrance that is not overwhelming. I used the Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All-Cleanser both day and night to cleanse my face before applying toner.

There are a few things I liked about the Total Cleans’r. First, I liked that it cleanses my skin without leaving it dry and tight, it hydrates and leaves my skin feeling smooth. My previous cleanser was Fresh Soy Face Cleanser but I felt that Fenty Skin Total Cleans’r was more hydrating, although I think the Fresh Soy Cleanser is gentler, which may be a function of the fact that the Soy Cleanser is unscented. A little goes a long way with the Total Cleans’r, a pea sized amount is all it takes to form a generous lather. And I loved that the Total Cleans’r removes makeup, I just use a little more product and it is able to remove even waterproof mascara without having to use a makeup remover first.

Additionally, the Total Cleans’r is relatively inexpensive compared to similar products, for example, it is $25 for 145mL while Fresh Soy Face Cleanser costs $38 and is 145mL. Finally, I like the eco-friendliness of all Fenty Beauty products including the Total Cleans’r. My only critique of the Total Cleans’r is the packaging, residue is often left after you retwist the cap to close and if it is not wiped away, it creates a mess on the counter.

I like Fenty Beauty Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser and I recommend it for those who are eco-conscious, budget conscious and are interested in using vegan products.
